Hello, we are Jerry and Teresa Vaughn. Wow, we are in our 47th year of marriage and 43rd year in world missions! We have been friends with our ATI team members for 46 years and have been working together for 37 of those years. That’s amazing…still great friends – living life and working together for Father God’s purpose! Teresa and I love the nations. We have a God-given passion for the nations. As ATI Missions Leaders, the call of God has taken us into Central and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and across the USA. Our passion is to build a family of relationships rather than an organizational structure. We envision authentic Christianity as being expressed through effective discipleship within communities of believers who are fulfilling their God-given destiny under the loving Lordship of Jesus Christ, where the kingdom of God is expanded through multiplication - “disciples making disciples”, “leaders cultivating leaders”, and “healthy father/son mentoring relationships” - which transforms the family, the church, society and generations. You may ask, “What does that look like in everyday life?” We believe the Kingdom of God is built relationally, not organizationally. Relationships take TIME. Relationships are developed over time and through divine alignment. Just like in a family, a son or daughter recognizes their father through time and awareness, rather than just through an organizational position or title. Therefore, our passion and focus are on long-term relationships through serving, encouraging, teaching, mentoring, and strengthening leaders and local churches by preparing every member to be a minister and helping them embrace and live in the purpose for which they are created and called. Another strong, passionate dream of our hearts is to see young men and women awakened to the call of God upon their lives. Far too many knowingly or unknowingly resist any call to “ministry” due to misconceptions and traditional definitions of what it means to function as “pastor, etc.” The many young adults around the world whom the Lord has placed in our lives are being helped to develop a Biblical perspective of the call of God so that their lives may be brought out of obscurity and into fulfillment and significance.
